Yellow is, in my mind, the color of summer. This weekend I went to the beach with my brother and two yellow things popped in.

This rather nice looking school bus (look at the shine on that grill!), and…

the mustard squiggle on my hot dog. Yeah!

And here’s yellow in the spotlight, reacting to the other strips in my quilt block (which I made at a Denyse Schmidt Workshop and is now a part of this skirt).
