WTF World?

To all of you complaining about the heat wave, at least you didn’t wake up to this.

Seriously, WTF? It’s 34 degrees out and still snowing. It’s JUNE. It’s bad enough that there’s no beach nearby, and that it’s been raining off and on for weeks–but this? this? Oh the humanity.

p.s. dear apartment complex: I think it’s safe to turn the heat back on already!!

  • nuts! I just found your blog through a blog through a blog..... and I came upon this post and RIGHT AWAY I RECOGNIZED THE LOCATION!!! Then I looked down at another post and sure enough... i was RIGHT! It's the MSU campus!!! Wow,I sure have a good eye! I graduated from MSU in 04. I didn't live on campus.... well ok.... I didn't sleep there (sometimes it felt like i lived there since I was there so often).

Anyhow... love you blog and had to comment on this. My husband and I now reside in OKC, talk about HOT! We miss Montana... we're from Helena.

Anyhoooo.... oh and yes, one of my friends who works at MSU wrote me that day and said how mad she was that it was snowing! ha... gotta love Montana!
  • I'll trade - it's been over 100 here.
  • That is insane! But... I would definitely prefer some snow to the heat! At least then I could wear some cute jackets and stuff, haha.
  • Hi Linda,

I read your contributor blurb in Sew Simple mag. which I just bought the other day. I LOVE your projects! I can't wait to make the top and the bag. When I read you live in Montana - I had to visit your blog. My husband grew up in Bozeman. My MIL called Tues. to wish us a "Merry Christmas in June," - 33 degrees and snowing. But right now, being 3rd trimester preggers in Florida, I'll take the snow! Thanks for the awesome projects and inspiration!
  • Holy Smokes!! Wish I could send some AZ heat your way~
  • Melody
The weather is crazy. Here it was 101 degrees. The air condtioner was broke. We could have used some of the cold front you had.
  • iknitipurl
I'll trade you! It's been hot since March and we haven't had a decent amount of rain in months! (I'm thinking maybe November.)
  • I would swap you for this yucky hot Arkansas weather ANY day.
  • mommapoo
We are toasting in San Antonio, but seriously that snow doesn't look to appetizing to me. Better you than me.
  • I hope I remember this post if I ever get a wild hair to move to Montana. I'll keep New Jersey, thankyouverymuch.

I hope it warms up soon for you!
  • VioletteCrumble
Yup, just think of us in Austin with 102 for days in a row. Or, maybe don't think of us right now.
  • Oh yuck. We are flooded over here in Wisconsin. Seriously if you send the snow this way though I will cry and add to the flood waters!
  • oh, linda. that sucks.
  • The world really is going crazy. This is the craziest weather year I have ever seen. Soooo sorry about the snow. I grew up in WY and ID and though it sometimes never got over 70 the whole year, I still don't ever remember snow in June! The weird part is that tomorrow you will probably hit 100, the way this year is going. I'll be thinking of you as the sweat pours down my face. Hope it warms up soon! Love Stacy
  • No way! Is that possible! It was 98 degrees in NY yesterday (be thankful you weren't here for that)! :)

I'm going to Glacier NP next month... I hope it doesn't snow on us then! :)
  • Yeah... I'm WTFing over here, too. It's freezing in Portland. And the heat was officially turned off in our apartment building on the last day of May. Brrr....
  • ok. ok. enough said. i am done complaining. i give you my allotment of "complaining rights." that sucks!
  • holy god that is awful! in other news, i'm really loving all of your work lately (i've been a total lazy butt about commenting here, but i've been reading!).
  • OMG, I can't believe you got snow! How sickening. I feel for you. You may have heard about the deluge of rains we've received here in southern WI. If it's not one thing, it's another. Hang in there!
