Because I finished this little sweater today, I thought I’d share it with you to entice/nag you to come participate in the Crochet-Along that I’m hosting on Craft Stylish. You’ll make your own version of the sweater below (it’s a free pattern, but you have to register), and each week I’ll guide you through all of the hard parts with step by step photos.  We’re officially on Week 2 (but you know I have to work ahead) and it’s not too late to start, at all! Especially if you’ve been intimidated by crocheting clothes before, this is a great starter project that will show you that you can do it. Plus it’s easy to fit things on small children… 

If you do join in, please post some photos as you go. I am a huge dork and there is nothing more gratifying than seeing people actually use the how-to info that I work hard to produce. Last night was the last night of my crocheted hat class locally, and I left feeling so awesome that all 3 students left with a crocheted hat they made themselves. I forgot to take pics (doh!) but it was a lovely feeling.

In other news, I’m in both swamped-with-deadlines mode and secret-making mode…so this will have to suffice as your post o’ the week. Hope everyone is happy and crafty.
