Just a Little More Shop Talk: Free Shipping Sale

Since the opening of my fundraising etsy shop (this Friday!) coincides with so-called Black Friday, I’m going to kick it off with a bang. All items in the shop will ship anywhere in the United States for FREE through Monday, Dec 1st at midnight mountain time. That gives you East Coasters a couple of extra hours, even.

Among the offerings are several great books, signed by their Authors, including Complete Embellishing by Kayte Terry, Bead Simple by Susan Beal and Stitched in Time by Alicia Paulson (would it be bad if I bought this for myself from my own shop? ). I’m also very excited that Brett Bara has offered a 1 year subscription PLUS all of the back issues to Crochet Today! for the super-cheap price of $60.  In addition, we have some hand sewn goodness including:

apron

A beautiful Rosy Hostess Apron by Erin of House on Hill Road. I found Erin’s blog back when I was editing Adorn and asked her to make an apron for our Tea Party story.  Her sewing skills are top-notch, and don’t you just love the mix of fabrics? I love this one because it would work well for the holidays, but also year round.

tote

A lovely Flowery Lattice Purse by Beki of Artsy-Crafty Babe, with lovely pleats and vintage-looking kitchen fabric in black and white. To me, this bag is the perfect size to carry everything you need, plus a magnetic snap closure means it’s easy to dig in and find what you’re looking for.

menorah

And last but not least, a pretty menorah embroidery from Floresita. I like the simplicity of this piece, and the antique button “flames” are a nice touch.

So remember to meet me back here on Friday (or, if I’m feeling like it, Thursday night) for lots of goodies, a great cause, and FREE shipping anywhere in the US. And to top it off, a simple holiday craft project, as promised. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m off to make the pie crust.

  • hey - i will post a link tomorrow. sorry i have been out of the loop.
