Bring On Spring Cardigan

Just a heads up that my tutorial for making a ruffled cardigan is up on Craftzine.com. All you need is a cardigan, 1/2 yard of fabric, and basic sewing stuff. As a side note, you could also cut your fabric on the bias to eliminate sewing the fabric tube, and it also might be fun to try this with a sheer fabric, since the ruffles did get a bit heavy.

Bring On Spring Cardigan

I love how colorful this turned out, and now that it’s actually warm outside, I can wear it. (Note: There’s actually snow on the ground in this picture.) Yay.

I have left over heather ross double gauze with unicorns that I've been looking to use for wardrobe renovation. This will be perfect!

  • Oh wow! This is so nice! What a great idea. I have several cardigans that can do with a "make-over".
