Pretty Project: Crochet Trimmed Pillow

Okay, I thought I wasn’t going to post today but of course I changed my mind when I saw the lovely pillow that Erin (of House on Hill Road) worked up– she used the trim pattern for the Scalloped Spring Jacket from Crochet Adorned.

Super cute, right? And if you read Erin’s post, you’ll see that she describes herself as a beginning crocheter– but she was able to whip up this project using the diagrams and instructions in the book. If that’s not encouraging, I don’t know what is! Head on over for your chance to win a copy of the book!

And if you make something from the book I’d love to see a photo! I’ve created a Crochet Adorned Flickr Group for you to share your projects, and of course, please post them to Ravelry as well if you’re over there (and if you’re not, join!!)!

  • What a perfect match of the yarn and fabric! I cannot wait for my copy of the book to arrive! Just 10 more days to go....All I have been thinking about is how I can add crochet to my clothes and bags I am making. I also have a piece of pink fleece fabric lying on my sewing desk that I want to give a crochet edge.

  • Yes, super cute! I love the combination of yarn and fabric mediums on this project.
