Giveaway #4: Scrap Bonanza

To wrap up this week of giveaways, I’d like to offer one lucky reader a priority mail box stuffed full of pretty scraps from my studio. I *love* sewing with scraps but it seems that no matter how many times I go through them, the bucket overflows. I sat down with them again this weekend and picked some of my favorites to send off to one of you. There are lots and lots of cool fabrics in here, from designers including Denyse Schmidt, Kaffe Fasset, Amy Butler, Heather Ross and Alexander Henry, plus there are some fun old faves of mine and even some Japanese imports. They range in size but are all totally useable. I’ve pressed all of them so they’re much less unruly than they were in my studio.

giveaway week

You could definitely make a nice something or other from all of these scraps, and it makes me happy to send them to another sewer rather than toss them or hoard them (cause I don’t have time to arrange another Patchwork Swap at the moment!).

giveaway week

Enter to win by leaving a comment here by next Monday, September 14th at midnight mountain time, and don’t forget, there’s still time to enter the other three giveaways. Have a great weekend!

Hmmm, I just spent most of yesterday cutting up scraps. I tend to make a pile of anything that is too big to toss and too small or wierdly cut to fold up then I pick a time when I don't want to work on anything (or don't have time) and cut them into strips or squares to use for something scrappy. and we know, the more variety the better when u do scrappy, so winning this would be perfect. thanks for sharing

  • Oh, I love the bright colors! I just finished up a quilt top and am just itching to start another quilt but am thinking of what to do. This would be GREAT!!!

    Thanks for the opportunity.

Yeah! I recently started quilting in the last year and I have hardly any scraps, this would be perfect.
