That is a STUNNING crochet pattern. Did you convert it to English, or do you read Portugese? I would love to make it myself!

You can definitely do it, and they are so fun for little bits of yarn. Hope you like the hat--I'd love to see a pic if you make it up. (And, hope you can stock up on lots of books and mags while you are in the US!)

I just took a look at that Portuguese pattern. Do you know how to read those? I speak Portuguese and when I was down in Brazil I tried looking at the crochet patterns but most of them just use the diagrams and I couldn't figure out how to read them.

Lovely mitts! Have not tried to make any before but you make it sound easy. I saw your sweet crocheted hat in the Winter issue of Interweave Crochet yesterday. Planning to make one as I am off to Chicago in a few weeks' time.

Love the inky blues of your gloves :)
I am unabashedly obsessed with scrawling through ravelry page...I have just recently completed a pair of very easy and pretty handwarmers "Emerald Green Handwarmer by CreativeYarn, no double pointed or circular needles, easy peasy knitted flat and sewn together, good for practising knit and purl stitch! Creative Yarn has about 5 beautiful and easy-ish knitted fingerless that are all great beginner projects.

Thanks for the fun class today. I love your blog! Can't wait for next week - I would write something totally clever, but my husband is literally drumming his fingers for the computer.
