The Crochet Liberation Front has opened up voting for their annual Flamies Awards, and I’m flattered to be nominated in 2 categories. In case you’re wondering what the Crochet Liberation Front is, it’s a group on Ravelry that was started as a joke, but found a following; of crocheters who want to be liberated from the stereotypes about crochet and crocheters. This is the third year they’ve given out awards and it’s  fun for all of us designers.

First, Crochet Adorned was nominated for Best Crochet Book of 2009.

And I was nominated for Best Accessories Designer (hats, socks, scarves, jewelry, etc). I’m flattered! Here’s a slew of some of my favorite designs from the past year (you can also check my ravelry page).
