Today’s blog tour host, Kristin Nicholas of Getting Stitched on the Farm, is a big source of  inspiration to me. I became familiar with her work when she did some projects for Adorn and I remember how excited I was for her great embroidery book, Colorful Stitchery. She’s since written several lush books, all of which feature her wonderful sense of color. Lucky for me, she also developed her own yarn line, named Julia after her daughter, which has the most amazing palette. Of course I had to use it in one of my book projects, the Mix and Match Motif Blanket. I loved that I didn’t have to “settle” for any colors on this one, the hard part was limiting myself to the 7 I did choose!
