Today’s blogger for the Little Crochet blog tour happens to be a good friend of mine–Susan Beal. Susan is actually the person who suggested I write a book (that became Crochet Adorned), and made it seem like something that I could actually do. Susan has been a career inspiration for me for many years, and she’s also just a really sweet, empathetic person that I feel lucky to call my friend.

When she invited us out to Portland around the release date of Crochet Adorned, I taught her to crochet a flower (which, if you’ve been reading along, she then used as an embellishment in her recently released book,  Modern Log Cabin Quilting!).
