Day 8: FutureGirl

Today’s stop on the Little Crochet blog tour is with Alice Merlino, aka FutureGirl. Alice is a crocheter+ crafter whose blog I’ve been reading for years and years. She is crazy in the best kind of way–for her, there are never too many colors (or ends to weave in) and when she sets her mind to something, she’ll do it. Like these knit and crochet covered chairs. Or the peacock sweater that she’s worked and reworked. I admire her tenacity, and the best part is she shares her thought process so that her readers can learn something too.

Like me, Alice makes the best use of scraps of yarns (or if she’s not using scraps, she could be!), so I  should have known she’d love all of the striped projects in the book! Head on over to see what she has to say about them. And secret: I thought some of the “toys” would be good even for adults who don’ t have kids. Ahem. Such as myself.

Very cute! I'm a scrap user, too. Just had to tell you-I have KnitPicks on Facebook and they just posted their interview with you. Way to go, girl!

    Thanks Marty!
