Stripes, Part 1
Although I am toiling away (or more truthfully, working my butt off) projects I designed before I started my job keep coming. It makes me seem super productive, and I’ll take it!
Just before I left Texas, my friends at Crochet Today asked me to design a slouchy beach hat. I chose the extended single crochet stitch to create the Pacific Beach Hat. It is a not-too-oversized slouch that has a nice drape, especially for something worked in worsted weight yarn–you can also pull it down and it reads more like a traditional hat, t00. This is a fun quick one, and perfect for breezy nights on the shore.
Look for it in the July/August 2012 issue of Crochet Today magazine. I’ll be back in a few with another striped pattern that was recently released!
