About Me
I’m a native Texan who has lived in NYC, Bozeman MT and now I reside in Denver CO. Crocheting is my passion, but I love to sew, knit and quilt too. I wear many hats: I’m a crochet and craft designer, writer, editor and a crochet/knitting teacher. I work full time as an Acquisitions Editor at Craftsy.com, and I also teach three of my own classes online.
I am the author of three books: Crochet Adorned, Little Crochet and Sugar and Spice. I love creating modern patterns using quality yarns, showing crochet in its best lightl! I have contributed crochet and craft projects to several books, including Stitch and Bitch Crochet, Hooked:A Crocheter’s Stash of Wit and Wisdom, The Crafter Culture Handbook, Bead Simple, Vogue Knitting on the Go: Grannies, Button it Up, and Knitting for Good.
My work has also been featured in many magazines including Crochet Today, Interweave Crochet, Knit Simple, Knitting Today!, Living Crafts, BUST, Craft:, Make, Sew Simple, CraftStylish and Sew Stylish. My patterns have also been featured on the TV show Knit and Crochet Now. I was the founding Craft and Decorating Editor of Adorn magazine (short lived but well loved!).
